Team building day of the incubation programme: From millet balls to table tennis balls

After the overwhelming feedback last year, we were delighted to organize another day this year that gave participants at our Social & Green Business incubation programme the opportunity to network and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.

Two stations full of inspiration and creativity

Our day began with a visit to heidenspass , where co-managing director and art director Jasenko Conka gave us fascinating insights into the upcycling design workshop. Here, young people in difficult life situations are given a job without any complications and create products from used and recycled materials that not only delight customers in the shop near the art house, but also secure major orders from well-known companies such as Kastner & Öhler and Sonnentor. The enthusiasm and dedication of Jasenko Conka and the entire heidenspass team for their work and “their” young people was obvious.

At lunchtime, heidenspass chef Martin invited us into “his” kitchen, where he humorously guided us through the preparation of a delicious three-course meal. Afterwards, we enjoyed the meal together at the long heidenspass table.

Strengthened, we made our way to the circulART material hall , run by Max and Claudia Gansberger. In the former horse-mill, which now serves as a warehouse for materials that would otherwise be disposed of after theatre productions or exhibitions, they collect, sort and prepare them. The goal: to make materials accessible to artists and the public again and to stimulate the material cycle in the arts and culture sector. After the tour of the hall, we showed off our skills and accuracy with a table tennis “round trip”.

A big thank you

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the teams from heidenspass and circulART Materialhalle, who helped us to have an unforgettable, informative and fun team building day – and also bikes4cargo, who took us safely from A to B with the electric elephant! See you soon!
