More power for East Styrian start-ups!
The Social Business Hub Styria is cooperating with Regionalentwicklung Oststeiermark and Oststeirisches Kernland.
The new cooperation and the joint project “Social Business and Startup Schmiede Oststeiermark” by Regionalentwicklung Oststeiermark, the regional development agency Oststeirisches Kernland and the Social Business Hub Styria was presented at a press conference in the Literaturcafé of the Gleisdorf public library on September 5. The Startup Schmiede Oststeiermark, founded in November 2023 by Regionalentwicklung Oststeiermark, is gaining strength through cooperation with the Regional Development Agency Oststeirisches Kernland and the Social Business Hub Styria. Together they will drive forward the promotion of social enterprises in Eastern Styria. The aim is to build a strong network for sustainable and socially effective business ideas in the region and to support entrepreneurs and people with sustainable ideas in developing innovative solutions for social and ecological challenges.
First joint steps
Creating information and awareness: Social and green entrepreneurship is being made better known in the Eastern Styria region.
Workshops and knowledge transfer: Training and workshops help to turn innovative ideas into successful business models. In fall 2024, a hybrid workshop series of the Social Business Hub Styria will be launched, which people and founders from Eastern Styria can also attend free of charge. Workshops & co are also being planned locally in the Eastern Styria region.
Networking and mentoring: Founders are supported through networking events and a mentor pool and benefit from the network of the three cooperation partners, which is constantly expanding in the Startup Schmiede Oststeiermark area.
