26.09.2022 News, RESONATE

On 19 September 2022, the three partner organisations of the RESONATE project met in Milan to close the 24-month project. We are proud that the project contributed to the creation of a new strategic partnership and within the two year cooperation between October 2020 and September 2022, it has been strengthened.

RESONATE Partnership

Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini S.r.l. SB hosted the closing transnational project meeting at LUISS Hub Milan. During the one-day meeting, participants analysed the different phases of the project, but specifically the three main outputs, the joint transnational short-term staff training sessions. These were held in Graz on 13-17 September 2021, in Milan on 28 March-1 April 2022 and in Barcelona on 13-17 June 2022. During these exchanges, staff members improved their knowledge about the three different regional social entrepreneurship ecosystems. Participants were inspired by many innovative and forward-looking social entrepreneurs and got to know local policy-makers’ views. The staff members of the organisations also learnt more about each others practices when managing the social business incubators or social business support organisations or providing training, mentoring or coaching to social entrepreneurs. Besides identifying common practices, that was highlighted as a very important outcome of the partnership, many new aspects, elements, tools in relation to impact assessment, stakeholder relationship, business models and policy-making built new capacities and contributed to skill development within the organisations.

On 29 September 2022, the focus was on the evaluation of the learning outcomes in different format. Transnational meeting participants had group discussions, worked in pairs and evaluated the questionnaires filled by training participants on how they self-assessed their skills and knowledge development, but also how the training setup contributed to an effective team learning environment with lectures, interactive workshops and visits. Participants also analysed the general project management and discussed the difficulties, that they faced during the implementation.

At the end of the day, project partners concluded that for the sustainability of the project a good basis is a strong partnership, that was reached and can nurture future cooperation between the organisations with the aim to support the skill development of new or already operating social entrepreneurs and contribute to a sustainable and inclusive regional economic development.
