The newly collected key figures provide information about the development of social entrepreneurship in the southern region of Austria. The presentation took place at the UNICORN Startup & Innovation Hub in Graz, with the presence of representatives from politics such as LABg. Sandra Holasek and City Councilor Günter Riegler as well as successful social entrepreneurs such as Christof Weissenseer (founder & managing director of Weissenseer Holz System Bau GmbH) and Klaus Candussi (Co-founder atempo GmbH). The study, which covers the period from 2021 to May 2023, shows a positive trend: Despite the current challenges, there is a significant increase in companies in both federal states that are committed to social and ecological goals.
