Read moreThe networking event of the Startup Schmiede Oststeiermark took place at the beginning of March in the coworking space “Hauptplatz 12” in Weiz. This new service and network hub of the Regional Development of Oststeiermark connects startups and young companies from various industries to the right places and supports them in implementing creative ideas.
Eastern Styria is characterized by an above-average rate of new companies being founded and is a pioneer in terms of innovation. The Startup Schmiede Oststeiermark was created to present regional offers and services clearly on a central platform. The aim is to promote ideas and support new ventures.
At the second network meeting, founder Denise Vorraber gave a keynote speech on the topic of “Secrets for an impressive performance”, and young entrepreneur Lukas Reitbauer presented his new business. In addition, Selina Sperl and Julia Tödtling , students at the HLW Weiz, presented their winning idea, which arose from the Youth Entrepreneurship Week in mid-February.
The Social Business Hub Styria supports the activities of the Startup Schmiede Oststeiermark by bringing its offers such as workshops for social and green entrepreneurs and the Social and Green Business incubation program to the region.
We would like to thank you for this informative evening and lively exchange and look forward to further cooperation!
